"As a young married couple living and working in Winnipeg, we often talked as many do, of our retirement many years down the road. Our dream was to some day build our 'Dream House on a Lake'.

However, finding Lake Riviera Estates within an easy commute of Winnipeg, it struck us, 'Why wait for retirement? Let's live that life now!'

We've had no regrets leaving the city, with all the benefits of the lifestyle we have been immersed in here, the lingering memory of work-day stresses disappear when I sit on the porch and survey the Lake in front of our house. The peace, serenity, and surroundings have a way of soothing your body & mind.

We have since raised three children here. Our eldest daughter now married, mentioned her own dreams of playing on the beach with our future grandchildren. Her thoughts made us realize how attached she is to her childhood home, with it's natural park, lake, and beach that every child dreams of having. Her desires to share that with her own family, verifies we made the right choice coming here, and the quality of life that comes with it."

"A year after the sale of our cottage, we started casually looking for a retirement home to replace both the lakeside cottage and our house in the city.
​
We stumbled on Lake Riviera Estates while on a Sunday drive.
​
The one acre plus lot on the lake filled the bill! Secluded but not remote!

The cool clean water fed by the creek and several underground springs are great for swimming. Now that trout are being stocked in the lake on a regular basis, fishing is another activity to enjoy.
​
Lake Riviera is a great place for our children and grand child to come and visit as they live in Winnipeg and it isn't too far to come.
​
Ducks, geese, as well as deer, fox and rabbits share our habitat. Plenty of room and excercise for our Golden Retriever.
​
We are 5 minutes from the town of Ste. Anne, 15 minutes from good shopping in Steinbach, and 30 minutes from shopping in Winnipeg.
​
The other owners are a mix of retired and working families, who we have enjoyed getting to know.

The Board of Directors of Lake Riviera Estates, also known as Condo Corp 260, is elected by the owners. This ensures that development, while welcome, will continue to maintain our rural atmosphere."
